“Enjoy the night, the velvet night, for this, the night, is ART.”

A bespoke performance by an imaginary troupe of artists, created to interact with audiences at a special Surrealist Soiree event hosted by Te Papa as part of the Surrealist Art touring gallery exhibition.

Four performers represented the disconnected parts of a face, roaming through the crowds and coming together to perform a highly stylised spoken word and movement routine. (Available on demand).
